Event Films & Production

Multi-camera coverage, highlight films and recaps that make an event worth reliving.

Event Films & Production, the SSC way

Event production is the film side of a live event: planning the coverage, running the cameras and sound on the day, and cutting the films that let the event keep working after the room empties.

We plan with the organisers before the day: the programme, the key moments, who needs to be on camera, where the cameras can and cannot be. On the day we run a directed crew, often with multiple cameras, so speeches, performances and reactions are all covered without getting in the way of the guests.

After, the edit is built around how the films will be used. A short recap for social within the week. A longer highlight film for the website, sponsors and next year's invitation. Individual speaker or performance edits where they are needed. Interviews with attendees woven through, if the event has a story to tell beyond the schedule.

We have covered awards shows, cultural festivals, conferences, grand openings, launches and multi-day congresses. The question we ask every time is the same: what should someone feel when they watch this, and what should they do next?

A typical event engagement starts two to four weeks out with a planning call and a site visit where possible. On the day, the crew is self-contained. Within the week, the social recap is in your inbox for review, and the longer films follow on an agreed schedule.
